The Chanticlair
Chefs Jake Reimer and Jeremy Tummel team up with a co-op of talented local chefs, winemakers, and artisans Wednesday through Sunday to produce a farm-forward, eclectic menu, offering a chefs tour tasting menu, vibrant small plates and family style options. The Chanticlair is a secret culinary gem in a century-old Spanish Revival building on the west side of Old Town Santa Barbara, an ode to the original restaurant and bakery that opened here in 1948.

Learn moreOur story
Tucked away on the west side of Old Town Santa Barbara in one of the century-old original Spanish Revival buildings. At one point, 113 West De La Guerra was home to residents and even a haunted brothel.
The Chanticlair is the resurrection of one of Santa Barbara's earliest restaurants and bakeries from 1948 on De La Guerra. The original served the Old West film crowd and locals as it grew a cult following before moving to Hollywood with the film industry years later.
Fast forward to today, where Chef Jake Reimer & Chef Jeremy Tummel partner with California guest chefs, farmers, fishing boats, ranchers, winemakers, and top local craftspeople to bring guests one of the Central Coast's most unique intimate dining venues.
